Timcare Biotech is composed of bacteria which is useful for plant and soil such as Pediococcus acidilactici, Pediococcus pentosaceus, Leuconostoc mesenteroides, Azotobacter chroococcum, Bacillus subtilis, Streptomyces cellulosae, Bacillus thruringiensis and Bacillus sphaericus.

THE CHEMICAL FERTILIZER LEGACY

The sad fact is that synthetic fertilizers have been advocated and used ever since chemical manufacturers have made them user-friendly and cheap some 50 years ago, even with today’s environmental awareness. Unfortunately, most horticulture management programs still tend to ignore the needs of soils, focusing instead of the perceived chemical needs of plants. The results of this half-century old approach have made their mark and impact, resulting in plants with shallow and stunted root growth. This weak structure leaves plants vulnerable and defenseless against diseases, which manifest itself as insect infestation, excessive thatch and salt build-up in soils. The result is dead and deactivated soil biological systems.

From the world’s statistical analysis, average fertilizer use efficiency is ranged from 30-45 %, 15-30 %, and 20-30 % for Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium respectively. Generally this amount is still low. Up to date, there is a new way to supply the nutrients to the plant which is by foliar application. By adopting this means of application, the micronutrients, secondary nutrients, plant regulators and party nutrients can be effectively supplied to the plants. The advantage of foliar application is in the plant’s ability to quickly absorb the nutrient uptake and higher fertilizer use efficancy.
